Success Story” by the LA Weekly, Kit Williamson wears many hats: filmmaker, producer,  actor, award-winning playwright, crowdfunding expert and social media marketing strategist.  Best known for playing copywriter Ed Gifford on AMC’s “Mad Men,” Kit is also the writer/director/star of the acclaimed web series “EastSiders: The Series,” which has brokered distribution deals with Amazon, Hulu, Logo, Fullscreen and Vimeo On Demand and is available on VOD and DVD through Wolfe Video. The series has been nominated for 2 Daytime Emmy Awards, a Satellite Award from the International Press Academy and 15 Indie Series Awards, and was the recipient of the LA Weekly Web Award for Best Drama and the Indie Series Award for Best Ensemble. As the founder and CEO of Go Team Entertainment, Kit has helped content creators make their mark on the web, garnering millions of views, hundreds of thousands of dollars raised through crowdfunding and mainstream, substantive press coverage for their work. Kit is the cofounder of Brooklyn Web Fest and Content Creator Conference and the Executive Director of The New Hollywood LGBT, a non-profit leadership group and think tank for LGBT entertainment industry professionals. As a new media producer, Kit’s credits include the Maker Studios partnered zombie survival webcast “Zurvived,” as well as the second season of Blip.TV’s “Hipsterhood.” Kit began his career on Broadway in the Tony-nominated revival of “Talk Radio” and has gone on to appear in numerous films and TV shows, including The Good Wife (CBS), Public Morals (TNT), Numb3rs (NBC), Bosch (Amazon), Anatomy of Deception (Lifetime), Ana Maria in Novela Land (Oxygen) and Best Friends Forever (Slamdance). His work as press rep for “EastSiders: The Series” has garnered the show coverage in Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, The Huffington Post, The Advocate, Out Magazine, Film Independent, Towleroad, and many more media outlets. He also creates content and continues to engage new viewers via the show’s Facebook and Twitter pages. As an actor he has appeared in film, television, on and off Broadway, and was nominated for the New York Innovate Theatre Award for Outstanding Actor in a Leading Role. In addition to “EastSiders: The Series,” other producing credits include “John and Greg’s High School Reunion,” a hit in the New York International Fringe Festival which he also co-wrote.
